Garment Disposition

Our garments are built in-house, by human hands.

They go through special washing treatments, dying processes, and hand finishing. The non-uniformity of the material, colour, and probably wear of our pieces allow for it to express that it has passed through the skilled human hand.

According to the traditional criteria, these may appear as to be imperfections, but in this case they are feature of great value, which make the pieces exclusive and unique.

Care Instructions

Below is a care guide based on the materiality of your SHHORN piece:

Garments made of natural woven material (Cotton, Linen, Silk, Wool, Bamboo, Hemp):

If required, hand wash in cold water with a natural, low abrasion soap (such as Savon de Marseille) and dry in shade.
Strictly do not machine wash, spin, bleach or tumble dry as this is will undermine the longevity of the garment.
For general day to day maintenance, wipe down with cloth and water.

Waterproof Garments (Natural fibres, blended with minimal artificial yarns):

These fabrics used in these garments are treated with DWR (durable water repellent), which helps prevent the textile from being penetrated by liquid. DWR is not permanent, as both regular wear and exposure to the elements will cause the treatment to diminish.
To reactivate the DWR treatment, please wash with a technical liquid detergent made for hydrophobic garments (such as those manufactured by Nikwax or Grangers)
